What happen when someone gets to exercise power over another person? Will they abuse their power, or will they use it to care for the person? What is the intention behind their choice? Let’s do an Xperiment all together and see where it leads us and what feelings it evokes in us. Rouse, is in a middle of the circle created by participants for exactly 90 minutes. Sharka, is the moderator of the experience. You can give Rouse tasks and do with her whatever you want (some rules will be discussed beforehand) without her using her voice. All variation and direction is welcome. Be creative and feel free to bring some objects with you. This score is inspired by a piece from Serbian artist Marina Abramovic. However, we modified it to a group experience where everyone has their vote and responsibility.
Who is it for? This event is for anyone (16+) curious about this topic, or seeking to explore the concept and practice of power in a supportive, embodied way. No prior experience is needed - just willingness to be present with openness and care.

Rouse Renoir is a full-time film director based between Basel and Spain who has been engaged in performance art since 2014. Her artistic practice merges elements of kink, embodied expression, and physical endurance to navigate the complex terrain of vulnerability, desire, and taboo. Deeply informed by personal experience and a critical view of social norms, her work reflects a nuanced exploration of intimacy and resistance. With a background in documentary filmmaking and medicine, she brings a unique sensitivity to themes of corporeality, care, and control. Rouse challenges conventional narratives around sexuality, power, and identity, opening up shared spaces of tension, reflection, and potential transformation.
