Talk on Practising Ethnography in Kenya

Subject - Sexuality

As a part of weekly happening of Enquentros Exquisitos, an event for informal meetings presenting performances, different art projects, lectures, talks, discussions on subject of Sexuality I will talk about my ethnographical project I did in Kenya in 2021.

I study social sciences at the University of Basel. From January to February 2021, I spent 45 days in northern Kenya, engaging in anthropological practice on the topic of sexuality using ethnographic methods. I lived with the smallest ethnic community in the country, the El Molo, and would like to share my story with you.
